    Oz Comic-Con is the destination for pop culture fans in Australia! Spanning five shows throughout the year, each two days long, Oz Comic-Con boasts a show floor packed with exhibitors, autograph and photograph sessions with the hottest celebrities and one-of-a-kind panel events!

  • When is Oz Comic-Con?

    Oz Comic-Con is five times a year!

  • What are the hours of Oz Comic-Con?

    Oz Comic-Con is open from 9:00AM – 6:00PM each show day.

  • What’s the best day to attend Oz Comic-Con?

    Both days of the show are equally packed; it’s hard to choose just one!

  • How do I get to Oz Comic-Con?

    Whether you’re flying (by plane, broom or cape), driving, sitting on a train or bus, a full list of directions are available on our Travel page.

  • How Do I Buy Tickets?

    Tickets will go on sale soon for 2016. We suggest you buy tickets online before the show as ticket prices increase on site. Also, onsite ticket sales do not begin until 9:30AM each show day.

  • Can I Buy Tickets At The Door Or Can I Buy Them In Advance?

    You can buy them at the door. However pre-purchasing your tickets will not only be cheaper, but it will fast track your entry into the event. Tickets at the door will not go on sale each show day until 9:30AM.

  • The ticket says you need photo ID to enter and I don’t have any/the person who purchased the ticket is named on ticket. What do I do/can I enter without photo ID?

    Photo ID is not required to enter the event. It will only be required in the event if there is a need to verify the owner of the ticket. 

  • What about Kids? Do they need a ticket?

    All attendees 4 years old and up need a ticket to enter Oz Comic-Con. Children under 4 will be admitted for free all weekend and no ticket is required. Child tickets are for those children ages 4-12 and advanced registration is recommended, but not necessary. Please note, 1 paying adult ticket guarantees 1 free child ticket (ages 4-12) entry. Additional child tickets may be purchased online at ozcomiccon.showclix.com. Please note, Oz Comic-Con recommends all children under 18 attend with an adult and all children under 13 must have an adult with them at the show.

  • What’s the refund policy?

    Tickets to Oz Comic-Con are non-refundable. Change of advertised guests due to work commitments or other circumstances does not qualify for ticket refunds. Every effort will be made to replace the guest.

  • What do I do if I find/lose something?

    Please bring all found items to the information booth.

  • What if I get hurt?

    If you’re hurt, reach out to the nearest Oz Comic-Con staff, crew or nearby security and we will assist you in getting you the help you need.

  • What if I’m harassed?

    Oz Comic-Con has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind. Head to our Harassment Policy page to read what is not acceptable behavior.

  • What does Oz Comic-Con think of Weapons?

    Head to our Weapons Policy page to read what is allowed and what isn’t. Failure to follow this policy may result in your removal from the convention without refund.

  • Can you watch my kids?

    Sorry. Oz Comic-Con does not provide child care services.
  • What should I do if my child, friends, family or I get separated?

    Find the nearest Oz Comic-Con staff member or security guard and we will help you locate your missing party. We suggest that when you arrive at Oz Comic-Con you and your party pick a location to meet in case anyone does get lost.

  • Can you page someone for me?

    We can’t page someone for you. Arrange a time and a place to meet up if you get lost before you enjoy the show, or we suggest using those cool mobile phone things.

  • Can I bring my pet?

    If you have pets, please leave them at home. Our convention centres do not allow animals – except for service animals – into the buildings.
  • When will X be announced?

    Most content is unleashed in the weeks leading up to the show itself, though we will be revealing details earlier than that via our website and social channels.

  • I only have a general admission/day pass, will I still have the option to purchase photograph and autograph tokens?

    All tokens will be available to purchase online 2 weeks before the event at Shop.OzComicCon.com or from the token booth at the event until sold out. If there is something you do not wish to miss out on we recommend purchasing your entry ticket online prior to arriving at the event for faster entry and upon entry going straight to the token booth line.

  • What’s the deal with the guest dinners?

    A guest dinner is your chance for a couple of hours with your favourite guest in a relaxed dinner setting. There is a limit of 10 attendees per guest at each dinner. If you purchase a dinner ticket that includes more than one guest, the guests will swap tables halfway through the evening.

  • How Do Autograph And Photograph Opportunities Work?

  • What will I have to pay for at the show?

    Your ticket covers your entry into the show and if you have a premium ticket any special inclusions stated in the buying process. At any event in the country you will pay for guest autographs and photograph opportunities. Visit the individual guest bios to see the cost for autograph and photographs from each guest.

  • What Can I Expect From A Meet & Greet?

    An evening function is your chance to mingle and chat to the guests in a relaxed, intimate setting. This style of function is usually used when there are a smaller number of attendees. Guests are encouraged to speak to as many attendees as possible and are generally escorted by a staff member to ensure this occurs.

  • I Can't Attend The Event, Can I Still Get An Autograph?

    We have absentee packs available for purchase in the week prior to each event. The absentee packs include, but do not guarantee, a personalised autograph from the selected guests. The availability of absentee packs can be seen on the tickets page when available.

  • Can I Use My Own Camera At The Event?

    There are some restrictions on photographs. Cameras are not to be taken to any of the special evening functions. You are welcome to bring your camera on each show day as we allow photos for the first few minutes of each Q and A session. Once the MC requests that you put your camera away, you must adhere to this request as it is strictly monitored by the Oz Comic-Con staff. It is prohibited to take photographs during the professional photographs and the autograph sessions.

  • Will I be on camera?

    We attract local, national and international press to each Oz Comic-Con event. In purchasing your ticket and in consideration for being admitted to the event, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. Holder also hereby: (1) releases Reed Exhibitions from any liability for loss or damage to persons or property, infringement of any right or any other claim or course of action of any kind; (2) authorizes and permits Reed Exhibitions and its designees which include but are not limited to all sponsors, exhibitors and contractors to use and authorize the use of his/her name, voice, likeness and all reproductions thereof by any means and in all media now and hereafter know for all purposes worldwide in perpetuity; and (3) agrees to comply with all rules and regulations of the event. Holder agrees not to make any recordings of any kind at designated activities without the express written permission of Reed Exhibitions. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove from the event facilities any person who in our sole and absolute discretion is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner which we reasonably consider to be disruptive of the event.

  • I Bought A Platinum/Dinner Ticket. When Will I Be Advised As To The Time, Locations And Details Of The Special Events?

    This information is emailed to the appropriate ticket holders ONE WEEK prior to the event to avoid gate crashers. Please remember that the details for the Platinum and Dinner functions are for the ticket holders only. The details are not to be posted on the internet or shared with other people.
  • This Is My First Oz Comic-Con, What Should I Expect?

    Oz Comic-Con will have something for everybody. The main areas we feature at the event are various forms of gaming, comics, movie and television, animation and anime, cosplay and costuming!

    At the show you will have the chance to listen to your favourite actors answer questions on stage and a photograph and/or autograph from them. You will be able to browse through all of our fantastic retailers or participate in one of our speciality workshops; even get a sketch from one of our featured comic book artists!

  • Is there a cloaking room?

    Yes! We have a cloaking room located in the information booth at each event. There is a separate cloak room for Platinum Ticket holders in the Platinum Lounge.

  • Is Oz Comic-Con affiliated with…

    Oz Comic-Con is a part of ReedPOP, the largest producer of pop culture events in the world. ReedPOP owns and operates shows like New York Comic-Con, C2E2: The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, Special Edition: NYC, among others. 

  • Can I bring a suitcase to the show?

    No. Carts, luggage on wheels, and empty strollers will NOT be allowed during show hours. Exhibitors needing such items for legitimate business purposes will be allowed access at the opening and closing of business each day. This is a safety issue and no exceptions will be made.

  • Does Oz Comic-Con Accept Companion Cards?

    Yes Oz Comic-Con accepts companion cards. Your companion card will grant you with a comparable general admission ticket. Simply visit any ticket desk on the day you would like to attend Oz Comic-Con with your Companion Card to be provided with your comparable general admission ticket.
